Ramco to showcase ex-MoD RHIB’s at Seawork 2020

We’re delighted to announce that Ramco Ltd will be exhibiting at Seawork 2020!

The three-day event, which takes place at the Mayflower Park in Southampton between the 9th and 11th June, is one of Europe’s leading commercial marine and workboat exhibitions with thousands of visitors from both domestic and international markets.

Ramco, one of the nation’s largest outlets for quality used equipment, currently has a selection of Pacific 22 rigid-hulled inflatable boats (RHIB’s) available direct from the Ministry of Defence (MoD).

The vessels, manufactured in the UK by Halmatic and designed to withstand even the toughest of sea conditions, were deployed by the MoD for a diverse range of operations all around the world including logistics, counter-piracy/narcotics, defence and rescue missions. The Pacific 22 RHIB’s became surplus to requirement when the MoD replaced them with newer models as part of a recent equipment update initiative; implemented to ensure that equipment meets the expanding demands of the MoD’s military operations.

Ramco’s solution provides the MoD with a compliant and cost-effective service that extends the product lifecycle of equipment, reduces waste and promotes the reuse of surplus assets in a sustainable and eco-friendly manner. What’s more is that it allows buyers within the commercial marine and workboat markets to purchase competitively priced, quality vessels from a credible, military provenance.

The surplus vessels have been well maintained during their deployment and are already in great condition; although Ramco also undertakes a thorough refurbishment of each vessel. If you would like to view a Pacific 22 RHIB, or discuss any maritime disposal requirements you may have, Ramco’s team will be showcasing a RHIB at berth VA06 at Seawork 2020.
