Win a day of game shooting courtesy of Ramco!

Ramco has donated a day of partridge & pheasant shooting to the H&C News Clink Charity Hospitality Golf Day and auction, taking place on the 24th of June at the world-renowned Belfry Hotel & Resort.

The event sees colleagues from the hospitality sector enjoy a round of golf followed by a three-course dinner and overnight stay at the resort. The auction, which takes place during dinner in the evening, presents hospitality professionals with a tremendous opportunity to bid on a range of great experiences. All proceeds from the event will support the critical training and rehabilitation work done by The Clink Charity to prepare trainees for careers in the hospitality and catering sector.

Experiences up for grabs at the auction include: Afternoon Tea at Buckingham Palace – A day of fly fishing on the River Test at Timsbury Fishery – Aston Martin Driving Experience at Goodwood, and of course a day of game shooting at the Westfields Shoots Place Newton in North Yorkshire, kindly donated by Ramco’s Managing Director Neil Sanderson.

The shoot, which takes place on Monday 25th October 2021, also includes dinner and overnight accommodation the evening before at The Blue Bell Inn in Weaverthorpe. The shooting will begin in the morning when the winning bidder joins Neil, who is hosting the event, for a hearty breakfast before the shooting commences!

The H&C News Clink Charity Hospitality Golf day, which is sponsored by Meiko UK, will be attended by none other than Managing Director, Paul Anderson, and illustrious chef Cyrus Todiwala OBE DL.

For the first time in the event's history, participants of the golf day will be able to get their bids in early, following H&C News’ announcement that the auction will open in advance of the event especially to allow participants to enter their bids for the day of partridge shooting.

Paul Fieldhouse, Head of Business Development for Ramco Foodservice said: “Ramco is delighted to be supporting the H&C News Clink Charity Hospitality Golf Day this year. The Clink Charity do incredible work to help train people in preparation for long-term employment in the hospitality and catering sector.
