Ramco (UK) Ltd has been recognised as one of the UK’s top employers after inclusion in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026 in the ‘Small organisation’ category.
This prestigious award, powered by WorkL, is a nationwide survey honouring and celebrating the achievements of the UK’s top employers in creating exceptional workplace environments – with over 500 organisations taking part every year, large and small.
The recognition of Ramco – a reuse and asset disposal provider for businesses and public sector organisations across the UK – is based on feedback from all its 49 employees about what it’s like working at Ramco.
Ramco was assessed against WorkL’s employee engagement survey developed by behavioural scientists, data analysts, psychologists, HR experts and academics to monitor employee engagement and wellbeing in the workplace.
This year’s survey reviews six core areas: Job Satisfaction; Reward & Recognition; Empowerment; Information Sharing, Wellbeing; and Instilling Pride. It particularly highlights the best workplaces for women, the LGBTQIA+ community, disabled employees, ethnic minorities, younger and older workers, and those where staff enjoy the highest rates of wellbeing.
Ramco scored over 75% in the Reward & Recognition, Instilling Pride, Wellbeing and Job Satisfaction categories, and was also rated Excellent for Diversity and Inclusion.
Neil Sanderson, Ramco’s Managing Director, said: “I’m so proud that we’ve been recognised as one of the UK’s ‘Best Places to Work’.
“It reflects our commitment to building a happy, productive and rewarding workplace experience, and is testament to our team’s dedication to ensuring Ramco is inclusive and supportive. We’re honoured to receive this recognition and committed to further enhancing our workplace culture to protect the wellbeing of our staff and support their professional development.”
