Online auction house and surplus asset reuse specialists, Ramco, has strengthened its Business Development team with the appointment of Rob Guthrie as an Account Manager.

Rob brings huge experience in UK B2B client account management in industries spanning pharmaceuticals, automotive, agricultural, and food & beverages.

His expertise and established network will play a key role in helping Ramco build market presence and meet its clients’ evolving needs and expectations—whether it’s for a relocation, site clearance, onsite sale, equipment upgrade, or quick asset sale.

The appointment underpins Ramco’s commitment to providing a seamless disposal service, helping organisations give their surplus assets a new lease of life, and supporting efforts towards reuse and the circular economy.

Rob Guthrie, Business Development Account Manager at Ramco, said: “I’m really pleased to be joining Ramco at an extremely exciting time for the business.

“Organisations of all kinds are becoming more aware of the financial, operational and environmental benefits of effective surplus asset disposal, but typically need support to manage the process and achieve great results.

“Ramco has built a solid reputation for providing a flexible, hassle-free and mutually beneficial disposal service, and I look forward to building on this success by driving opportunities, nurturing relationships and supporting clients with their asset disposal needs."

Teddy Townsend, Ramco’s Business Development Manager, commented: “We’re thrilled to welcome Rob to the team and looking forward to working closely with him.

“His knowledge and experience working with organisations in many of our target sectors will be pivotal to shaping Ramco’s future and continued success.”

For almost 30 years, Ramco has been helping organisations give equipment that’s no longer needed a new lease of life. Working with clients like Uniper, the MoD, National Highways and Centrica, Ramco has helped to rehome thousands of surplus assets.
