CHANGES TO THE RAMCO MONTHLY TENDER – MAY 2015

After years of successful tendering we have decided to upgrade our existing tender system to make use of newer technology and improve your overall tender experience.

Ramco has collaborated with world-leading software developer ATG Media, who operate a number of online marketplaces including Bidspotter, ibidder and thesalesroom websites. Following extensive testing we are pleased to announce our intention to use a specialised version of Bidspotter.

The Ramco tender will continue to be a sealed-bid process and you will continue to bid through the ramco.co.uk website. To ensure a seamless transition a slight change to the registration process is required. The Ramco registration and log in details will no longer be accepted after the April 2015 tender. You will need to follow these simple steps:
1. Customers already registered with Bidspotter can click here, then simply log in and go straight to step 3 where you can sign up to bid.
2. For all customers new to Bidspotter, click here to set up an account. Once submitted, you will receive a verification email from Bidspotter with instructions on how to register. When registration is complete you will be able to log in and start bidding.
3. The May 2015 tender will shortly be going live. To enter the tender click followed by . Your personal details will be required when you sign up and you will receive a confirmation to bid. Please do this early to avoid any delay once the tender goes live.
4. When you are ready to bid simply click the View Tender button below where you will be asked to log in using your Bidspotter credentials.

To further improve your experience at Ramco we are installing guest Wi-Fi. This will enable customers to bid online whilst viewing, so please remember to bring your smart device (phone or tablet) and simply enter the Wi-Fi code which will be provided on the day. Regrettably the printed catalogue and our acceptance of paper bids will cease, although a notes page will be made available for easy reference.

Notification of successful bids will be made via an email from Bidspotter. Payment can continue to be made as before and you will have the option to automate this if you wish. Collections must now be completed by 4pm on the Wednesday after the tender closes.
