DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
Granite Setts

Last year Ramco purchased some granite setts (cobbles) from Darlington Borough Council. Removal terms were agreed and we appointed a member of the team to find a buyer and sell it directly from site, the buyer in this instance was a reclamation business. The job involved around 300 tonnes of new packaged setts and 300 tonnes of loose (second hand) setts. Machinery and labour was brought in to uplift and remove it from the site ensuring it was left in a clean and tidy state. Our team project managed the whole task and good lines of communication were maintained throughout.
